But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ACTS 1:8 ESV

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.Matthew 25:35-40 ESV

The people of Hope Community Church believe strongly that the Bible calls us to be involved in Jesus’ disciple-making Mission. Two of the Mission areas that we are involved with are Hope House Detroit and Redeemed Children, Haiti. We have ongoing support projects and activities that you can be involved in to help these two ministries. Please contact our church for more information on how you can be involved.

Our “Judea/Samaria”

Hope House Detroit

Our goal in supporting this operation is to help assist the services and ministries to provide after school programs, tutoring, mentoring, meals, spiritual guidance and the many other expenses that incur when attempting to bring about transformation and growth in a depressed community. The goal at Hope House Detroit is to encourage kids to stay in school and find a path towards living out a godly life in Christian community in Detroit and hope to reduce suffering and share the gospel.

Our “Ends of the Earth”

Redeemed Children Organization

In our partnership with Redeemed Children, our first target goal is to support teacher pay and fund classroom teaching materials. Most children walk many miles just to hear their lesson. They sit in a classroom with no roof allowing weather and local birds to become a problematic distraction. We would like to have enough funds to not only provide for the teacher’s needs, but also place a roof on the school. The Redeemed Children Organization supports the children of Haiti who suffer from the effects of poverty. The village of Goatable, Haiti is one of the poorest. Most children born in this village have no tangible way of ever leaving the village. Redeemed Children is actively working to “transform” the life of the children and assure them a better future by providing quality education.
